This is a long shot I know, but I thought I'd post this and see if anyone is interested.

I've had this Leica for about four years, bought it when I was in Canada. I got into DSLR's in Korea and finally figured this isn't going to see much use if it stays with me. Also, we have a baby on the way and this won't do anyone much good sitting collecting dust...

It's immaculate. It has the 50mm [collapsible], 28mm f2.8 and 90mm f2.8 (all leica), the Leica TTL flash and a 25mm Voiglander f4 w/viewfinder.

I also have a Minolta light meter Model IVF with spot attachment and a Billingham Hadley bag.

If anyone is still doing film and is interested, please PM me. I don't want to get into a p***ing war on the boards with prices, but welcome informed and reasonable interest privately.

Cheers,

~ smw

UPDATE:

The camera and lenses are all black. I forgot to list the Leica polarising filter specially made for rangefinders. It has the fitted case and lens adapter ring as per stock.

I prefer to sell the Leica stuff as a whole kit, but the Billingham and Minolta stuff can be bought separately. I have a 10 degrees spot attachment for the Minolta and it includes the fitted case and an extra flat diffuser for copy work.

Again, reasonable offers are welcome.

Thanks,

~ smw

very nice gear ... the leica m6 is a very decent camera.

i'd make you an offer, but it's worth more than i'm prepared to spend ... so i won't insult you with a splifalicious lowball offer.

i don't care much for billingham bags ...

but i might pm you about the light meter.

good luck selling the leica ... wish i could afford to buy one! Smile

Thanks Superdave. I'm surprised you don't like Billingham. I think they are the best bags I ever used, including Domke and LowePro. Each to their own.

And thanks for not making a splifalicious offer. I have no illusions about the value of such a kit, but I'm not stupid either. Thanks for being respectful of that.

Yeah, probably won't find many English teachers willing to dump a paycheck on a camera...but who knows.

If I were you I'd try to get some use out of it. Get some nice pics of the baby!

BTW - It's NOT digital, right (your post is a little confusing).

Oh I don't know about that: I have dumped loads of money from teaching into cameras...

But you are right it's a film camera. I thought that was clear from the post's subject.

Cheers,

I am now selling this as individual items, so if anyone is interested please PM me and we'll go from there. The 28mm Elmarit is on hold pending sale.

Cheers,
