There are always people on message boards who make posts like this.

It usually turns out they are completely wrong. I could go into a pschoanalysis of why. But I won't, because you didn't pay me yet. PM for bank details.

Whenever I kill a thread, I just assume it's because whatever I posted was so eloquent and useful that there is no need for more discussion on the topic. Very Happy

You are quite right, my chap. Fella, go ahead and commence to off yourself for your ills. I'll give you a hand off of the roof, but do give us a barbaric shout out before you kick it.

(Wouldn't be a bad thing to check out what threads he has killed. Looking at the incept date for this fella, he does seem wooden, eh, whatever?

WOW. I thought the same thing about myself! But I figured it out...the well known posters post on every thread they can...some die, some don't. Do an experiment. Post on every thread and if Dave's shuts down the next day, you'll know that you are an online plague.

I wonder who is going to ultimately kill this thread?

That'll be the biggest loser, let me tell you.

Cool

I've been repeatedly ignored since the day I joined Dave's way back when (before my date to the left says, cuz that's when the site changed).

I've probably met a bunch of posters, but I never ask or mention about Dave's in real life.

First I thought the reason I get ignored is because I have a highly ambiguous moniker. It has no pizazz or character. Look at all the popular posters. They have names that are common words and are easy to pronounce.

Now I think it may be because I don't usually contribute anything really meaningful. However, sometimes when I do, it doesn't get noticed anyway.

Basically, if you don't complain about getting wronged in Korea one way or another, completely support Koreans in all respects on the other hand, whine about social issues on the Current Events forum, talk about lame happy kid teaching stories in the Job forum, post a thread about Radiohead, cocaine, or atheism in the Off-topic, make a thread about Korean women, or have a blog of yourself traveling in Asia in your sig, well, you just aren't "in".

I'm cool with that though!

i dont really care if i kill threads, the vast majority of the people on this site appear to be complete tards so if i kill some of their enjoyment and/or lower the level of debate that is just fine by me.

Nado. Funny, you'd think trolls would kill a thread, but they tend to drag'em out even longer. They prod the hornets nest and get all the posters riled up and they come out. Hmm...wonder if I should start my troll training? I'll give it a try.....

Anyone who posts in this thread are pitiful loser thread-killers, pissed that you didn't get attention from your family just like you can't get any attention on an anonymous online forum!

....Naw, troll'n just ain't for me....
