My co-worker is on UBLove. He's been getting some responses, and a few of them are just too hilarious to be a coincidence. This one made us bust a gut, so I asked him if I could copy/paste it here. I put the funny parts in bold:

| she used the word "strenuous"(so out of place in that mass of gibberish) which makes me think she had a korean-english dictionary with her? if so, why didn't she use it for the rest of her msg lol o.O like for example "Toy poodle?" she cant say small poodle but she can say strenuous? is this fake? |

| Actually, UB Love is known for having a fair number of fake ads where gay men use fake female photos and posts in a sad attempt to get off on the responses from other men. There was a pretty good discussion about this one on a local military site. Will include the link, if I can dig it up. |

If you haven't noticed, they're not criticizing. What's wrong with finding the obvious sexual implications she's unknowingly making funny? He took out her name and such, so I don't see what the issue is. |

I make a living proofreading things like that. It's very common for Koreans to arbitrarily use words that are too big like that. I started a thread about one student who taught me the word "conflagration" recently (it means fire).
The things that seem like giveaways to me are:
-correct capitalisation of "Korean" and "English"
-correct capitalisation of "I" for most of the entry, until the last three lines.
-Lack of apostrophe on "Im."
-The construction of the sentence "Im 22 years old and am an university student." It sounds like someone who understands sentence structure but is faking it. Kudos though for incorrect article in front of university.
-The comma splice "My English is very poor, I apologize." Sounds like a fluent mistake.
-Excellent use of the word "to" in a variety of different sentences "I also like to make many friends" and "I will go to Italy to study abroad."
-The line "You think about this ok?" sounds like someone's imitation of a juicy girl.
-Use of "e-mail" in two sentences shows some knowledge of how the word is supposed to be treated.
I think this was written by an English speaker who's not particularly gifted as a writer (typical for ESL teachers here), but is familiar with how Koreans write. You must meet her to answer this question. |

I believe they were very much intentional.
This girl may not even be real -- or may well know exactly what she is trying to say. |
