Basically, my boss wants me to fill out an enormous load of A4 showing my proposed cirriculum for this semester. One for each grade (1-6.)
Something showing objectives, key expressions and the like...
I did this a few months back, but now I have a new boss and he wants a fresh one.
His English is poor and he wouldn't even bother to read it. So if someone can point me to one that I can print out, or copy and paste I'd appreciate it |

I realize that you need something for "show". BUT I really think it a disservice to your students and school but most of all to yourself, if you don't go through the thought process of planning and "making" the curriculum.
It doesn't have to be elaborate and you can take something online (like from Interchange) where they go through the basic curriculum expectations for different levels and go with that. Just add your own notes for key games/activities/events.
I really think (and especially with teachers that don't have a lot of experience) that it is a must - to go through this process......also just ethically right.
If it is a question of money, thinking you aren't getting paid enough to do this - this should be discussed and clarified with your employer.

I have my own curriculum(hand written), which I 'made' for myself. My boss, in his wisdom, wants one thats printed. Beacause it just for show I don't want to spend 4-5 hours typing mine up.
ddeubel: I've read plenty of your posts and they're very helpful, but your reply is patronising. I've been teaching for nearly ten years, and I'm fully aware of the need for a cirriculum. |

Scan your work in to a computer and use text recognition, that will save you the time. |

alinkorea,
dduebel may have seemed patronizing, but get with the times -- if you already HAVE the curriculum written, in this day and age, it NEEDS to be typed on computer -- so get off yer duff and type it up -- or ask a secretary at your school to type it, or buy a student some kimbop to type it. If you made it yourself, you will probably adapt it to any other teaching gigs you get -- or rather, you will adjust your teaching gig to the curriculum you already spent the time writing. Either way, if it is a job worth doing, it is worth doing well, and if it isn't worth doing, don't do it. |

Sorry if I did seem patronizing. I know posting online is fraught with miscommunication/misreading etc.......
I always (and I guess it is just my style), try to respond towards the more general situation, given usually that a particular post will always lack the very specific information need to respond with precision.
But no patronizing intended, just wanting to help and also give others reading, a hint at what they should do, regarding course planning.
