Missouri Man Faces 30 Years in Prison
For Stealing 52-Cent Doughnut

Mon Oct 8, 11:45 AM
By The Associated Press

FARMINGTON, Mo. - It's a hefty price for a pastry: A man accused of stealing a 52-cent doughnut could face
up to 30 years in jail.

Authorities said Scott Masters, 41, slipped the doughnut into his sweat shirt without paying, then allegedly
pushed away a clerk who tried to stop him as he fled the store.

The push is being treated as minor assault, which transforms a misdemeanour shoplifting charge to
a strong-armed robbery with a potential prison term of five to 15 years.

But because Masters has a criminal history, prosecutors say they could seek 30 years.

CONT'D ...

Can't argue facts so you go for the insult? Impressive. Very.

The quote posted by EFLtrainer above directly from the documents is indisputable and has no reason for existing. It says, and I paraphrase: The separation of powers ceases to exist should the president declare a state of emergency. There is no other way for this to be interpreted, so your defense of it can only mean you cannot understand fairly basic English, that you want Bush to be a dictator or that you are too intellectually dishonest to admit the meaning of the quoted material.

Will that be before or after the Repukes have stolen another election, which would be the same as Bush staying in office?

I notice not on of you has yet had the balls to tackle this little issue directly:

Care to, or are you content to play with straw dollies?

If the Repubs win another election it will be a sign of the massive incompetence of the Democraps. If they are THAT clueless about how to capitalize...they don't deserve to govern.

As for this imagined state of emergency...regardless of whether or not one is called...Bush will step down in 2009.

I might be able to tackle the quote if you can tell me what the "It" is that you refer to in the quote.

But then I'd have to review 4 or 5 months worth of posts.
Come on give me a break, what is the "It" you have refered to?
