ahh, the second honeymoon period...

I am definitely feeling the morning calm today, its beautiful outside with no ridiculous heat burning up the mist. It feels great to be back in Korea and up early with jet lag.

Life is pretty sweet. Thats all I wanted to say.

It is nice. I woke up ridiculously early today, and the sunrise and cool weather is sweet!!

I'll be dragging azz later today as my penalty, though. But at least I won't be sweating.

Yeah, and they turned the heat on in the taxi I took this morning.

Then they turned the heat on in the subway line 1.

Then I got to work and the heat was on till I turned it off.

Everyone is wearing jackets like they're freezing!

WTF, over?

We were sitting in a draughty classroom all day yesterday.
Woke up this morning with a cold.
k teacher and me both have colds today.

I wonder when the windows will not be fully open; probably next time the aircon goes on.

For me, korea is the place of the morning colds. Normally goes about 10:30 or so.

Too warm for a long sleeve shirt, but too cold to have the windows fully open.

I had some morning calm the other day. The wife was up all night with the twins. I woke up around 6 am. So I took them for a walk in the stroller (motion puts them to sleep). So I walk them for an hour and a half, enjoying the peace and quiet, then I headed home. I finally got noisy one to sleep. Four old annoying bitches come down the hill and stop right in front of my stroller. I had no choice but to stop.
They then woke up my babies. I fuking exploded and yelled and screamed at them.

For once I got to wake people up.

Morning calm my a$$!

I felt it this morning too.

It was the earliest I've gotten up in a long time. Even though I only got 4 hours of sleep, I felt really good this morning, walking out in the crisp air, calm and happy to be here. Considering I've been quite stressed because of school and a little home sick lately, it was a very nice feeling for a change. So I went to have a coffee, and read a good book. Something I haven't done at 7am since university I think.
I thought to myself "I should do this more often".
