Sooo, I've purchased my computer today, and it should arrive this week!

I plan on getting into BF2142 with some friends, anyone else interested or already playing it?

Otherwise, there are plenty of other games I'm interested in playing. If anyone has a group playing some games right now, or anyone wants to get a group going for a particular game, I'm really interested in getting in on that. (Obviously games we can purchase + download online without having to get a box makes life easier, such as BF2142)

I'll be getting the new Ghost Recon with my video card, and I've heard that's quite good. Otherwise, I'm pretty into Starcraft, and play some SuddenAttack as well.

I'm really only into multiplayer games. Played WoW back in university, along with Counterstrike, and CS:S.

Must game.... I've been out of a loop for well over a year, basically when I moved to Korea. Let me know what's up everyone Smile

Have you considered BF2142. I play that these days. I'd also be up for a game of age of empires, but I'm not that good.

The only game I play online right now is Medal of Honor Spearhead. I play on the .:[LSE]:. clan servers in the States. My ping sucks, but it's good fun.

I know there are a few other people in Korea playing MOHAS, so maybe we could start a server for it.

What did you end up buying?

I have played BF2142, but BF2 is what I prefer.

I have some low ping servers and woud love to hook up with some players over in Korea.

i'm a big fan of warrock (warrock.co.kr).

it's a korean first person shooter ... heaps of fun and fast as hell. similar to counter strike.

even though it's in korean, it's easy to play and find your way around. you just need a nexon id ... which you can get by faxing them your id card.

I gave up on warrock. During the registration they wanted to know EVERYTHING about me. This included ID number, income, marital status, shopping habits, phone number, address...Everything! Just crazy. I had to stop half way through for the sake of my online identity.

Also, everydavid, are you playing from Canada. There isn't much of a chance of a person in Korea getting a low ping on a server that gives a person in Canada low ping. Did that make any sense...?

I am not too good at BF2, but i have a lot of fun playing.
The game is cheap now and worth the money for sure.

I like both BF2142 and Company of Heroes.

Too often when I play BF2142 I get kicked for having too high a ping. The only Asia-based games I found are filled with Koreans and Chinese killing each other (got a hate-on for each other, I guess).

Something called Punkbuster keeps kicking me for having too high an average ping when I try to play on most other servers. Sad

I've been playing BF 2142 a ton lately. Got my new compy up and running and bought the game. Having a blast so far. It's sometimes hard to find a servers that's highly populated with a good ping, but there are a couple good ones that are reliable enough.

My ingame name is Tethan, feel free to add me and we can make a squad ingame. I use voice com and have a few squad commander upgrades. It's a great game to play with some buddies with voice com, really great team-play features.
