Hi,

Are there any climbers lurking on this board? I'd love to get a few climbs in before the season is over, and I think it'll just take too long to ship my gear over from the states.

I need a harness, and a pair of climbing shoes, size 8.5 or 9.

Check out koreaontherocks.com -- sometimes there's gear for sale there, but there are also folks who live near stores that actually sell climbing gear. Good folk, too.

I'm on that board under the same name. There are climbing trips pretty much every weekend.

you can buy pretty good gear in Korea from the store for a good price. Most outdoor gear here (mainly backpacks and clothes) are insanely priced, but some of the rock climbing gear is pretty good. There is a German company that makes shoes and harnesses here, they have stores too. I can't remember tha name at the moment. Go to Dongdaemun, or look around your local higher end shopping district and you'll find some gear.
