i love this show! Cool

i do sometimes wonder though if a genuinely beautiful girl, like Natalie (a beauty from the show), can truly love a really nerdy, ugly guy like the guys on this show? Confused

i hope Natalie wins. i'm really diggin' her...

They don't care. It's just a game with a winning prize. I'm guilty of watching such shows as well.

Watched the first one. One guy is a real nerd. 100%. But you know? They're stupid blonds. You could probably tell a lot of them that sukin yer dik will give them super powers and they'd do it.

I just wonder if some of these guys get head behind the set. One guy is all shy, but I think he's a homo. The asian guy.

And it's all a game. Obviously the girls and the guys overdo it. Girls try to look really stupid to get a spot on the show and the guys overgeek it.

Pretty stupid, but I'll watch it. I'll watch that over Heroes.

I also thought Natalie was the prettiest one, simply for her long, more natural colored hair if for no other reason.

The show is interesting, but I hate how it plays into stereotypes of smart women being ugly, and pretty women being dumb. The reason I hate this is because little girls are watching this and probably thinking that they will act dumb in order to be beautiful. I hate that. I think little girls need to see a show where women are beautiful and smart.

I'm still deciding how I feel about it, though, because in spite of this, the interactions are entertaining.

I'm glad they brought on an African American girl finally (pageant queen) and they need to bring on more brunette (pageant queens/pretty girls.) One thing about the show is the girls are (almost) all platinum blondes, and I'm watching this and halfway expecting Winger or some other hair band to come out of the wings and kiss their groupies (beauties) who look like they almost all came straight from the 80s LOL. It's been a while since I've seen that much white blonde hair. You would think that guys like more variety??

although i'm kinda crushin' on Hollie, i'm glad they have been voted out of the mansion in episode 2. Josh is a jerk and lost it for them...

I have seen the British and the American versions of the show and I don't know if it is just me but I think the geeks are too good for the girls! They are picking the wrong beauties to be sure but none of the British beauties are on the same level education or intellect wise as the geeks and tend to be the typical 'footballers wife' ie: a bit thick, a bit obsessed with their own little world, loud, grating etc and whilst the geeks might have styling issues they are usually top grade students in some of the best universities in the world as well as coming across as decent genuine chaps.

I never watched the show and thought Chloe the lapdancer is too good for Norman the geek. I always thought once this guy leaves Oxford with his first and gets rid of the star wars toys and sorts his hair and his life out. He is going to be the catch! Not some thick, gyrating bimbo whose main goal in life is to become 'famous' by appearing in FHM and to marry a rich footballer. Rolling Eyes
