....lets take it a step further.
Again, from the book 'Saddam's Secrests', written by Georges Sada, the fromer #2 man for Saddam Hussein.
pages 253-254-255....

Saddam's Special Weapons
Everybody understood that reality at the start of the war; I'm convinced it was only politics that made some people change their minds after the fact. But the world has been thinking about WMD's since at least 1990. This was one of the reasons that America and coalition forces decided to invade Iraq in the first place. And that's why important for me to address some of these things now, to set the record straight.
The point is that Saddam finally grasped the fact that it was just a matter of time until Iraq would be invaded by American and coalition forces, he knew he would have to take special measures to destroy, hid or at least disguise this stashes of biological and chemical weapons, along with the laboratories, equipment, and plans associated with nuclear weapons development.
Large stockpiles of weapons were destroyed by the United Nations weapons inspectors between 1991 and 2003, but I can assure you they never got them all. There were tons of raw material, shells and shell casings, rockets and grenades, both half-completed and fully completed devices hidden in large caches. In 2001 and then again in 2002, Saddam called a meeting of all the top scientists, researches, and technicians involved in developing weapons systems, and he told them to memorize their plans. Before the paper trail was destroyed linking Saddam to these plans he made certain, on the threat of death and dismemberment, that eery single plan and every schematic was committed to memory.

The Nuclear Industry
|
The evidence of Saddam's nuclear and chemical wapons programs form the 1970s onward, from reliable sources inside and outside of Iraq, is overwhelming--so much so that ist's difficult to understand why so many people in the West have been unwilling to acknowledge the fact that WMD's were not only a fact of life in Iraq for more than thirty years bu they were Saddam's obession. Dr. Khidir Hamza reveals in his book, Saddam's Bomb Maker, that German scientists created teh chemicals that Saddam used on the Kurds at Anfal. Later it was German, French, and Russian scientists who helped the Iraqi engineers beging the process of enriching uranium for nuclear weapons[b] |
More to come guys.

Well, I was talking to a friend of mine about my posts, and not one far left nut job has responded yet.........here is what he said.

Farl left iberals don't deal well with facts. What is important is "Bush lied! There were no WMDs It's an immoral war". Anything that jepordizes those basic beliefs isn't dealt with. They are not going to argue since they can't refute the facts. Tommorrow or the next day they will be saying "Bush lied! There were no WMDs It's an immoral war". Your comments won't even cause a ripple...... |
Good point, my man....good point.
