I heard August 2007 and then October 2007, but it's delayed with no explanation. What's the deal?

Does anyone know what's going on? I was thinking of making a journy up to Seoul this weekend with many months of anticipation that HRC is happening in Itaewon in October, but it's delayed with no opening date or anything. (It cost's me 90,000 Won and 10 hours RT bus ride to go to Seoul due to being as far as a hard rocker can go without leaving the peninsula so it's a big deal to consider a Seoul trip though Hannam grocery store lures me since no where else do you find stores like that unless traveling someplace outside of Korea) It also costs a lot more to go to another country that has it going on such as Japan or America.

I just can't see why it's so delayed as it was in Kangnam. Why couldn't they coordinate a smooth transition of having the old location close as the new one opened?

Japan and many other countries have many Hard Rock Cafe's, but one of the largest cities (Seoul) on Earth and one of the most developed countries on Earth has 0, you got it, 0 locations. That is sorry. How boring. What's going on?

I know the ROK loves rock n roll such as Metallica and Motley Crue, but why can't they really have the HRC? It's probably one of the most untouristed areas of the developed world.

In each of my trips to Seoul and Busan, I met young dude adventurous open minded worldly English speaking Japanese travelers so that says that Korea has potential to being a tourist zone. They just have to facilitate this if they want tourism, but they have to set it up for it to really be. (that other thread about tourism) "You build it, they will come."

You do realize that Koreans in general hate everything foreign, right?

Go to your local department store and take a gander at the toy section. All the toys are Made In Korea toys. I especially recommend the Korean version of LEGO, simply to die for!

Every Hard Rock I've been to is a touristy gimmick with typical family restaurant fare at twice the price as other places. Are there cool things going on at the Hard Rock? I know they have a stage, but I've yet to see any live performances there. How many Lenny Kravitz guitars and Mick Jagger costumes do I have to see before getting a hard on for the Hard Rock?

I came back to Seoul in November 2006 and the HRC in Itaewon has been "Opening Soon," since before I returned. It gives me deja vu from when Iteawon Station was scheduled to open for three years before it finally did. I still remember the big hole in Itaewon for my first two years here.
