|
|
I have a Cyon phone and can't seem to get mp3s from my sd/micro card to work. I've been to the Cyon website, but my limited Korean isn't helping me figure out how to use this thing. I've heard about converters that format the mp3s, but after downloading the software -- a usb driver, a mobilesync program and the sdmb player -- I'm still stuck.
Wondering if there's anyone out there who's been through it and knows how a workaround. |

There is no workaround that I've found.
They use a proprietary format to encode MP3s so you can't just drag and dump the files. I believe if you sign up for the Melon Player subscription (fee) then it'll let you convert MP3s to the proprietary format. |

They're out to make money.
People stopped buying the phones for .mp3 use because they knew the format of the phone was different. The phone company responded by selling phones that say they play .mp3 files, but in reality, it's the same old thing -- they don't play mp3's -- they play a proprietary format encapsulated within the file.
It's all smoke and mirrors, designed to fool the consumer into purchasing their stupid phone and paying money to download music from them.
False advertising, if you ask me. |

GG, then.
I saw it was SD/Micro compatible and got one. Maybe I'll downgrade when the contract is up. |
