I don't know about Daegu, but in Jinju you might want to try Zio Ricco. It's an Italian/bar type place. I was there almost a year ago, and I don't recall if there were actually TVs or not, but a lot of foreigners hang out there and it would probably be a good place to start. I'd give you directions, but they probably wouldn't be very accurate. A cab should be able to get you there quickly, it's close to the river.
