I've been teaching English for a year and a half now and although i enjoy it i'm thinking that maybe i should get a job related to my degree once my contract expires.
Therefore i was looking for some help. I have a marketing degree and have some experience working for a stockbrokers and a bank. Does anybody know how i would go about getting a marketing job in Korea? I have been looking on the internet but i thought this might be a good idea too.
If anyone can help, it would be appreciated.
Thanks. |

In case you haven't heard about it there is a website http://jobs.seoul.go.kr/
which has some non teaching jobs listed.
Besides that you could always try your country or even other country's chamber of commerce organisations to make some contacts.
That said I don't know of anyone who has scored a great non-teaching job inside Korea though. Most of the people with the cushiest jobs seem to be posted from their home countries. |

It helps tremendously if you:
1. Are married, and on an F2 (not an E2).
2. Are someone here on a tourist visa working illegally.
3. Are on a gyopo visa.
4. Speak Korean (most important).
Most of these companies pass over people who have E2s. They just don't want to deal with the contract/timing/paperwork issues. |

Even if you are a non-kyopo who speaks Korean you don't see many jobs around for foreign intruders unfortunately. |
