Macquarie University is the third largest university in Sydney and is definitely not a degree mill.

As a graduate of the University of New South Wales and someone who grew up 10 minutes away from Macquarie University or Club Mac as its affectionately known I can verify it is most definitely a degree mill, a sub-par University and hangout for losers, underachievers, potheads, laidabouts and hippies.

Take whichever answer you choose. Wink Embarassed

I don't think potheads and hippies belong mixed in those other terms. Lots of them are lawyers now.

I just realised the school is in Sinjeong-4-dong. That's where I live! Can't say I've noticed the school, though it does ring a bell. Perhaps I should pop in to set things straight.

Or just run in with an open, bleeding wound and grab wonjangnim in a homoerotic embrace!

[quote="Cheonmunka"]About the teachers:

I'm in Mok-Dong all the time though I haven't heard of them, yet. I don't believe they have a hundred teachers working directly for them. Maybe they are ESL agents. Slanty-eyed ESL agents. (Woops.) quote]

No, its a real school. The focus on middle school/high school and open weekends. Same deal as my last school.

It was a co worker from my last school who showed me the website originally as he had been asked to do one for our school and was checking out the competition.

He said they were very successful in MokDong. And no foreigners allowed.

I forwarded the link to my wife after I told her about it. She was totally shocked a school would say those kinds of things.

my wife was shocked too and she's Korean. I think most Korean's would be shocked by it, unfortunately, that's where it ends. Shock, then nothing done about it. Then when it happens again, shock, then nothing.

Exactly.....then again I'm sure there are people on here who would defend the school.

My wife agreed with it. Becuase she read the little disclaimer at the bottom. She didn't think it was a malicious attempt to dirty the reputation of foreigners. But then again, if it was directed at me personally, she'd be super upset.

My co-worker agreed too. But she did say I wasn't like that. Just many others.

Like I said, it wouldn't surprise me if someone defended the school.

And there you have it.

I'd be interested to know what this so called "disclaimer" is.

Let see:

People who run ESL websites are dirty, harry, sons of a *******, except those who's name start with Dave.

Disclaimer:The above statement is meant only in sarcasm and I am not trying to offend anyone who runs an ESL website.

Hehe, they are listing Liberty University as if it is something to be proud of!
That has got to be a first.

I was half expecting to see on the bottom of the page:
"And Ji-Hae, our receptionist has just returned from her 12 month internship with the KKK."

Jerry Falwell, you sure work in mysterious ways.

So far my Letter to the Editor hasn't run.

OP, I wish you would've capitalized AIDS. Every time I see the title I think about the South Park episode, "Jared has aides."
