This is open to current and past teachers who've worked in Korea. In a couple of days, there will be a poll titled, "Which hagwon would you reccomend to a teacher." The hagwons people write about will be in the poll.
What hagwon would you reccomend to a teacher coming to Korea, friend or another teacher currently in Korea?
Please give an educated response taking into consideration the following questions below;
1 ) Do the teachers at your school work together well as a team?
2 ) Are the students placed in the appropriate grade level?
3 ) Does your employer provide opportunities for staff training?
4 ) Do the experienced teachers support the new teachers?
5 ) Does your employer support the new teachers?
6 ) Is there a well developed curriculum that produces results?
7 ) Do you have access to a computer, copy machine, radios and other classroom related materials?
8 ) Does your employer honor labor contracts? {Please take into consideration whether your hagwon owner intentionally violated the terms of your contract or made a mistake/forgot due to dealing with many students, staff and parents.}
9 ) Does your employer use appropriate discipline measures towards the students?
