No, I hate religion. Maybe offended is not what I feel. The lemmings that follow it, I feel pity, lack of logical thinking, the lack of a spine. But I don't hate people who have a religion unless they sexually abuse young children, oppress, terrorize, etc.

If Ann Coulter was a member of Dave's, she'd be nothing but a troll and a lousy one at that. I honestly don't see what's so interesting about her. Like Donny said, the act (and that's what it is) is getting thin.

I can't believe any half-way sane person has a religion. Religion is for the weak and the world would be such a better place if religion could somehow magically disappear.

You're offended that the host is a practicing Jew?

Yes, the host and the guest. I hate all religions equally. Insecure, weak people need religion.

Okay, at least you're consistent on that.

Real religion comes from God. In the material world, everything gets corrupted in time. And some hustlers manufacture their own religions just for material gain.

But there is no compelling reason to believe that God isn't real or relevant or interested in promoting various types of religion to attract different types of people.

Scientists have been unable to logically explain or even describe the origin of life, consciousness, or the universe with their reductionist, mechanistic strategies despite their public posturings that there is no need to refer to a super-conscious supreme intelligence that's behind it all.

Their a priori dismissal of God from science has helped popularize atheism among many educated people.

Some religions are more philosophical than others. The more sentimental religions (originally presented for understanding by less intellectual types) are more prone to produce fanatics, but they still serve some useful purposes (to the extent that they're not corrupted...)

Ideally, they serve some spiritual as well a material purposes.

I agree that people who misuse eligion for materialistic purposes are about the lowest people there are. But not all religion is bad.

Skanky Coulter is a professional trans-gender provocateur & one of AmeriKa's biggest public blow-hards.

You say something bad about Irasel or about how the Jews are causing a lot of trouble and you instantly get labelled anti-semitic(spl)

Anti-semitism is pure double-think propaganda & at its core utterly meaningless.

Why even use the term?

Just take a few minutes to deconstruct it dude Idea

Exactly right. And we all know how secure bullies are. The whole, "insecure, weak people need religion," is so tired and lazy. So, what type of people need others to think they're smart? What kind of people need to think women dig them? What kind of people need alcohol, nicotine or recreational drugs? What kind of people need to have status symbols? What kind of people need to feel important? Etc. At some level, everyone is weak and insecure and needs something that others might not find so necessary.

Yeah. Kinda like 'it's raining cats and dogs'. It used to be a good idiom until the PETA PC crowd got on it and ruined it by pointing out that cats and dogs were not really falling out of the sky.

Ya-ta ...

What EXACTLY is semit-ISM?

An ideology? World view? Attempted form of exclusivism? Discrimination?

I don't disagree with you as such. I think all organized religion serves a purpose but is corrupt to a greater or lesser degree, even if only by the fact that it operates on the level of the material world.

You seem to feel superior to people who participate in organised religion. Are they worse people than you, simply because they were denied the circumstances and experiences that led you to your current er.. enlightened (for want of a better word) state?

How about people who had an even more fortuitous set of circumstances and experiences and so are more enlightened than you? I suppose you feel inferior to them? Too bad.

I don't think I'm better than a "weak" person. I'm not better or worse than anyone, I just am what I am, doing my own thing.

How do you feel about spirituality, in a personal sense?

On the OP:

What a detestable woman. She really opens her mouth, and *beep* comes out.

She just blurts out stuff with no attempt to frame it into a logical statement, and seems completely unable to explain it coherently.

She quotes an episode of Seinfeld, as being representative of all of current day new york?

And what the hell is a "Perfected Jew"? She used this phrase, probably a piece of Christian jargon, as if she expected everyone to know what she meant, her only explanation being "Christ died for our sins". How are they connected?

As idiotic as she is, those ideas didn't come out of nowhere, and to an extent, I believe they are true.

Speaking as an outsider, generalizing from stereotypes - Judaism is a spiritually primitive religion. It's tradition, it's custom and it's still spiritually stuck in the time when they were a tribe fighting other tribes for survival in the desert.

Coulter pointed out the common origin of Christianity and Judaism. The difference, essentially is Jesus' teachings. Jesus' teachings are far more spiritually advanced than Judaism, even as it is practiced today. eg Ten commandments: "Love your neighbor (another Jew) as yourself". Jesus: "Love your enemies".

Unfortunately, taking for example, the disgustingly corrupt Catholic Church, and to varying lesser degrees the others, Christianity since St Paul has no moral high ground to preach from. It has perverted the teachings of Jesus is spiritually degenerate to the degree it gives power to material concerns and rituals. Perfected Jews? Hardly.

I'll expound more later - got to go.

The reason why Coulter and her ilk are so plastered over the media is because her/their hateful sayings are the unspoken words of the rich and shameless.
If her values weren't their values, she would not be on the air. Plain and simple.
