| Dallas can't stop shooting themselves in the foot with all these penalties. |

I like Dallas at home to win. Everything in me says that New England should win, the media thinks New England will win, New England is a 5 1/2 point favorite, but I think Dallas will win.
Here are some stats that are useless but fun:
Total record of teams that NE or Dallas have beaten:
NE: 7-17
Dallas: 6-19
Points scored / points against:
NE: 182 / 65
Dallas: 166 / 96
Average winning score differential:
NE: 21.8
Dallas: 16
Common opponent, Buffalo:
NE: 38-7
Dallas: 25-24
Dallas is in the NFC, Patriots are in the dominant AFC. Dallas is coming off a short week in which Tony Romo had SIX turnovers. Tom Brady and Randy Moss look Montana-to-Rice-esque. For some reason though, I think Dallas can pull it out. Whenever a team is beloved by the media, they always fall on their face, and is the sole reason I think Dallas will win.
Tom Brady has had ZERO pressure put on him. He has been sacked only three times while tossing 16 touchdowns, 2 interceptions, and yields a 74.1% completion percentage. Talk about unstoppable, that is why teams need to put pressure on him, which none have to this point.
The Chargers defense last year was way better than it is this year, which accounts for their debacle in New England this year. They run a 3-4 defense, the same as Cowboys. When the Pats and Chargers played in the playoffs last year, they got to Brady who went 27-51, 2 TDS, 3 INTS, and was sacked twice. The Chargers lost 24-21, but they got to Brady and showed how to beat him. This is what the Cowboys will emulate. They run the same type of defense and I expect them to get to Brady, disrupt his game, and that will be the key to beating them.
Well I obviously have way too much time on my hands today, but those are my thoughts. What the hell, here is my prediction:
Dallas 24
New England 17 |
Everything I said above, I take back. Will New England lose a game this year, holy crap. Holy crap. |

Arghh~! Frustrating and disappointing, but for such a point spread, certainly not a boring game.
Nice game, Pats. |

| I wasn't far off on the win by 2 tds. Pats were dominant and hard to see who will beat them. Maybe Indy can stick with them. Once again the AFC championship game will be the real superbowl. hope its as good as last time. |

I didn't see a second of the game but it appeared that it was a hell of a game and far from a complete romp. Got to give props to Dallas for hanging in there till the fourth, where the door was blown wide open...

| Dallas doesn't suck. The Patriots are just that good. 16-0 is very possible--Indy and Pittsburgh are the only "challenges". |

Yeahyeah, speak yer smack.
I'm a double loser this week. My FF team lost and I'm down to 7th in a league of 10.
Not a good week to be a mole. |

| Cowboys are alright, but kind of overrated, no teams in the NFC are very good. |
