I met a girl in a club in another city a few weekends ago. Anyhow, we arranged to meet in my city this weekend as she was going past it on her way for another appointment. She's smart, really pretty and has great English (English hagwon manager). The problem is that all of the girls I've met before in Korea I've never liked - or realised the potential in - them.

I think we had a good time this weekend, and I think she enjoyed it too. But I find it difficult to keep cool or know what to do when I find a girl I really like. I find it easy to do if I'm not that interested in the girl. Anyone else have this problem? Confused

The three American Marines taking turns with her don't have that problem. They just pluck em while they're hot and leave the leftovers for the advice-seekers on Dave's!

Yeah. While Butlerian is humming an hawing others are getting a piece. Ha, ha!

So true.

if you're just looking to get laid, all these silly games really do work. acting uninterested, yadda yadda yadda. but if you actually want a healthy, good relationship to blossom, you just have to be yourself, even if that means barely being able to withhold your nervousness. if you act a certain way and play games, you might -get- her, but eventually she'll find out who you really are, and maybe that wasn't what she signed up for in the beginning.

this, coming from the guy who's been on one "date" in his life.

Be yourself. Don't try too hard. If she doesn't like you, then there are millions of other fish in this country (and women too!)

Regardless of the validity, considering where this advice is coming from, I suppose you can ignore it OP.

Shocked Whats your basis for that remark? I have serious girlfriend and I'm giving out advice that I think is relevant.

I can't think of anything I might've said/done here that would tarnish my ability to give advice in this area.

personally I tend to distrust any guy who touts himself as an expert in the field of muff hunting. a lot of these guys just never get over the bragging/lying phase from when they were 11 years old.

Weren't you the one with a thread titled something like "Where do I take a girl on a date (and she's my co-worker)"?

Nope that was Peter Dragon. He didn't listen either.

Will see a thread soon from him:

"How do I get out of marrying a woman I knocked up? Yes, it was my co-teacher"

Next thread should be: "Can I Still Give a Korean Girl Herpes if We're Both Kimchi Eaters?"
