By encouraging Americans to adopt a group mentality, the advocates of so-called "diversity" actually perpetuate racism.
I'm sorry but if you ask me, that is the most stupid thing I've heard in a while: Well, it's more that I STRONGLY disagree.

Quote:
We should understand that racism will endure until we stop thinking in terms of groups and begin thinking in terms of individual liberty.

1) Sure, like the individual liberty to be racist. Does he SERIOUSLY think that a breakdown of "a certain kind of collectivism" (huh...so THAT's all that's needed Rolling Eyes ) is what's necessary to rid society of racism?
Cause again, I'd disagree with that VERY strongly.
2) This assumes a system that allows everyone equal opportunity and that can't happen

But do you think you can legislate equality? The problem is, you GIVE equality to one person, you are TAKING equality from another. At least that's how it works in the real world, not the theoretical one.

No.
Eg:
You have two fellas; one who is, for whatever reason, being repressed. You "give" that one person equality, you don't take away the equality from another person.
Equality doesn't mean equal treatment: It means equal opportunity.

If I can turn a phrase, it's like you're creating a level playing field. You are helping one person without hindering another.

But you can't functionally do that. You can say everyone is equal, but how do you enforce it? If you enforce it in university entrances, then you give credit to those who are deemed of need. If you do it with jobs, you give preference to minorities or women. So, then you are being racist or bigoted in your hiring practices, but in the name of equality. This is Paul's point.

Something i DID find quite interesting was Paul's recent appearance w/ Bill Maher.

When he first comes on & greets the guests, he exchanges what appear to be two very obvious
FREEMASONIC handshakes!

QUESTION: Is Dr. Paul a freemason?

Ron Paul is Bill Maher's New Hero

I'm not sure exactly how equal opportunity stuff works. I'd always assumed that it was a "all things being equal, go with the minority".
Is that incorrect?
