Chung Dong-young has consolidated his position as the United New Democratic Party frontrunner by winning most of the eight provinces and cities where primary elections were held on Sunday. The former unification minister and ex-chairman of the defunct Uri Party won an overwhelming victory in Seoul and North Jeolla Province. According to party officials, Chung won 83.5 percent of votes in his home province of North Jeolla alone and is ahead of second-placer Sohn Hak-kyu by 30,000 votes. He also won all 25 Seoul districts 7,000 votes ahead of Sohn. |
I can't wait to see this bugger lose. |

The sleaziest man in Korean poltics. Makes Roh look like he has a backbone vis a vis the DPRK. The guy was the minister of uniFICTION, and if you look at the guys whove held that job, its pretty much bottom of the barrel scum. |

As little as I know about him, it would be hard for him to be sleazier than Lee Myungbag. That guy has been caught out in all sorts of corruption cases it's sick. I mean what is this place, Australia? |

One thing is certain. The presidential race would be much tighter than what all the conservative newpapers make us to believe. I will not be surprised if Jeong wins the presidency. All the democratic candidates, Kim Dae Jung and Roh, always came from far behind and won the election just in a couple of months. |

Hell, I bet this Chung dude is a Bible-humper too. It's getting to the point in Korea where in order to get elected you must be Christian. |
