Buyer beware for all those interested in this camera set. Litlbul quoted me $1300 (1.3 mill) at first and then when I replied to him, he bumped me up to $1450 saying "it was the lowest he could go." Shocked After I gave my opinion of what he offered originally, he said he would take $1400. Rolling Eyes WTF is that?!? $100 over your original offer? Seems a bit fishy to me. Just be careful for those wanting to buy. I decided best to just buy everything new and be safe rather than deal with someone like that.

I've asked around for this in Yongsan and the cheapest I was offered was 750,000 for the body and 750,000 for the lens. I would definitely be interested but can't afford it right now, but I wouldn't pay 1.45 for them both second hand.

You guys could say what you want, but this forum is not the only place I posted the camera for sale. I was getting different offers from different people and I had an offer for $1300, but then somebody offered me more than that. Sorry but if somebody offers me more, then I will not turn it down. Once again, I did not buy my camera in Yongsan which is gray market. I bought it at a legit store. If you can find a better deal, then nobody is stopping you from doing that. Also, my deal includes extra accessories that you would have to buy seperately which will add up.

If your upset becasue I did not agree with your offer then that is not my problem. My current offer stands at $1400. Like I said, I am not desperate to sell it and I am not here to rip anyone off. Thanks for all those that were interested.

Exactly my point. He's looking to get top dollar for his second hand merchandise. I have done some research on local korean websites and sites from back home as well and there looks to be only a max of $100-200 discrepency. Seems worth it to buy new and not risk getting screwed over for second hand, overpriced goods.

Also your comment about getting all these extras for free and it having great value is a joke. Rolling Eyes If I am willing to buy the body and a more expensive lens new , chances are I will get the filters and other stuff included in the deal for almost nothing extra to the seller.

Enough said.

If you're upset ...

fixed that for ya! Smile

btw, you're not quite right about yongsan ... yongsan isn't strictly gray market. both genuine imports can be bought in yongsan, technomart and namdaemun. most camera shops stock both.

if you sold your gear for 1.4 million, then congrats ... i was merely responding to someone's post about new gear prices. he said he saw the gear new for 750k apiece.

FWIW, W1,300,000 is actually $1400.

Thanks for correcting my grammar error on the internet. I forgot to turn on my spell check.

I was only referring to the price difference between gray market and genuine. No hard feelings.

Kimchicraig and I were discussing in Korean won(1.3mil), even though we said $.
