| Hi guys.Going to be taking wife & child to live and work in Korea for maybe 3 yrs at a public school.Wondering this:I have both Canadian & British pasports; which one would give us the bigger tax break to go on-Canadian, or British? What about other benefits either way?Is it true that Canadians have to pay tax, whearas Brits don't?We're not so worried about the Canadian reputation thing that u hear about, as I'll be going with my family. Thanks! |

Canadians pay Korean income tax. Brits can be exempted.
Income tax with a family is about 40k won per month (or less depending on your income).
Canadians get their pension refunded when they go home. Brits don't.
The refund is 9% of your salary. |
