If you get the "Inland Empire" DVD make sure you watch the special features. David Lynch makes quinoa. If I had money and connections I would make a cooking show with David Lynch. It would be brilliant.

As far as movies go...

"Donnie Darko", but how could you have NOT seen this movie

"The Fountain", from the director of "Pi"

"Death Proof", best... car... death... ever....

Has anybody seen Into the Wild yet? I've tried to download it from a couple of sites but it seems to stall at 99% everytime I try...

I didn't care for "Smoking Aces." It just... never really went anywhere.

For a better version of the same movie, see "Domino." That movie succeeds in trying the same things.

Just watched Mr. Brooks with three other people tonight and ALL of us liked it. Got bad reviews on rotten tomatoes, but we were into it. <shrug>

If car deaths are your thing, you could always check out Crash, although the book is lightyears better.

Speaking of Cronenberg, Dead Ringers was interesting, but not his best. Saw that recently. Could also watch Funny Games in preparation for the upcoming remake. Never fails to stir a few. Nowhere, Doom Generation, and Mysterious Skin are all by Gregg Araki, my favorite director. It's so hard to recommend 'good' movies without a clue as to what people are looking for: comedies, horror, Korean, blockbuster, etc...

Pretty much anything by Miike Takeshi, George Romero, Lucio Fulci, Dario Argento, old spaghetti westerns, and kung fu flicks.

My advice to you, Mr Sad Sack? Return Of The Living Dead. I have the rare Japanese special edition, and if that does not suit your tastes, maybe the uncensored Cannibal Holocaust will appease your refined cinematic lust, Sir Fussy?

You know I have a ton of good films; all you need to do is ask, and I will enlighten you.

PS - Cutting Moments. 'Nuff said.

Most of Romeros films are really really bad. I got all of them in one bundle - 95% stank.

There is a new movie with Michael Cera (from Arrested Development...george michael) called "Superbad".

It came out this summer but I don't think it made it out to Korea. Find it. Download it. Laugh.

This is England.

Growing up poor, pissed off and skinhead in Thatcher's Engerland, innit?

The Kingdom.

FBI fun and frolics in Saudi Araby.

Inland Empire

Lynch.

Planet of Terror

Good fun with gore.

Death Proof

Good fun with car crashes.

I liked The Crazies. Nothing all that new or different now, but at that time was. Entertaining at least.
