If that's the right guy like it looks at the moment, I hope that he'll be caught, rushed to the court... and executed by his peers. And by peers, I don't mean other sick fcuks like him, but other English teachers (if he ever was one) in Korea that'll face even more difficulties because of him.
If I ever have a son that does something like this, I'll be the 1st one to put him out of his misery. |

Interpol definitely took a risk in posting those photos, and it played out in both a positive and a negative way.
If they hadn't posted those photos (and if I and several others hadn't seen them on Dave's), Interpol probably wouldn't have his name, passport number, former places of work, etc., etc. However, the guy may well have seen the pictures either via Dave's or elsewhere, as he started behaving very dodgily soon after. I don't know if my comment made a difference, as I'm certainly not the only one who recognized him, but I sure as hell hope not.
I'm going to write a bit more about the investigation on another thread, but here's a picture of the guy I think resembles the pictures (and recently left Korea.) It's not perfect but it's one of the few I have of him alone.
I believe in innocent until proven guilty, and the fact that my former drinking buddy may be an absolute villain blows my mind, but the resemblance is striking (and they both used to live in Vietnam.) |
