I bought this car in February 2006 for 2 million won when I lived in the countryside (Nonsan). Basically it's a great, reliable car, but useless to me since I moved back to Seoul -- too scared to drive in Seoul!!! I've just been using it lately to GET OUT of Seoul to see places you can't get on the bus or train. For those roadtrips, it's been a great car -- comfy ride. But now I've seen just about everything in Korea.

Looking for around 1,500,000 won or best offer.

Details:

*176,000 kilometers
*No accidents until I got it -- ran into buildings twice, oops! - minor cosmetic damage on rear bumper and driver's side.
*There's a slow leak in the passenger's side front tire. That's because there's a nail stuck in the tire. I've just been too lazy to get it patched, and just put air in the tire every couple weeks.
*New battery installed last winter.
*Good A/C.
*Brakes will need fixing one of these days. It's not an emergency now, but probably within the next year, it would be a good idea.
*YES -- CASSETTE TAPE PLAYER!!

Owning a car

*My LIG insurance guy is located near Euljiro 3ga -- about 600,000 per year.
*Great, friendly Hyundai maintenance place is located near Yeongdeungpo Costco - you can drop it off there for an oil change while you shop - will show you where it is.
*tax - about 105,000 a year in Nonsan; might be about 200,000 in Seoul
*driver's license place is located near World Cup Stadium; you can get most American and EU licenses simply transferred into a Korean license for 15,000 won.
* Happy to help transfer registration, etc.

I can meet you in the morning or early afternoon.
Location: Seoul near Hongdae

I would consider cash, barter, or a cash/barter combination for such coveted items as a reliable scooter, an electric oven, book credits at What the Book, or services such as professional Website and logo design. Thanks!
