Hi, first of all, I have tried to use the search function on this forum but to no success as there might a script error or something wrong with my browser, which brings up a blank white page as results, which leaves me no choice but to start a new thread regarding Seongnam English Town.

in regards to the school above, what have you heard about the school? Whats the location like? Anyone got any pictures?

Any info would be appreciated, thanks for your time.

For Bundang residents: wasn't this housed in the building above Carrefour in Ori at one point? Not sure if it's still there.

Anyway, I'm sure it's not an issue anymore, but the Seongnam English Town made news in May, 2006, when two teachers were found to have molested students. They were Korean teachers, but the Gyeonggi branch of the teachers' union blamed it on foreigners anyway.

No real need to apologise, the search function is generally crap, but you're new, so not expected to know that.

Sorry, can't help with your query, but might I say you seem very polite Very Happy

I'm not 100% sure where it is. But if it's still in Bundang, that's a very pleasant area. I lived there from 2005-06.

You can see a flickr search here (all 1700 photos): http://www.flickr.com/search/?q=Bundang&s=int

There's also tons of information here: http://wiki.galbijim.com/Bundang

Lots of parks, a few small hills for hiking, a very nice stream that runs through part of town all the way to Seoul . . . loads of restaurants, department stores, grocery stores, coffee shops, etc.

Sorry, no picture of the English Town, though.
