I've been given the option to take a school with roughly the same conditions and pay in each of these cities.
I'm clueless as to Korean urban life, and I was wondering if anybody can give me some feed back on these three cities? If you're familiar with one or two, which do you prefer, and why?
Thanks again |

Hannam as in Hannam city or Hannam Dong, in Seoul?
Bundang is Korea's version of rich urban flight. Upper-class neighborhood that's great to raise families in, but a bit boring if you're young and single. You're 45 mins from Kangnam on the subway, or you can take a bus to many, many destinations across Seoul. It's a much cleaner place than Seoul, but has become overrun by cars in recent years. There are some very nice parks in Bundang, and a few decent places around to shop. The students there tend to have parents more serious about education than in other places, and opportunites for privates abound. Tell me where you'll be living, exactly, and where your school is.
As for Suwon, I believe it has a lot to do with where you live -- a mix of old and new.
Personally, I think everyone should give Bundang a try. Lots of western-style restaurants there, too. It's a nice place. The foreigner population has exploded there in recent years. |
