Hi guys, I'm Desiree. That's my name in real life too Wink I just wanted to say hi. I'm new here and I don't have any friends yet but I'm hoping to meet some people soon. I'm in the south east part near Pusan. I'm hoping to study some Korean. Is it very hard? I heard it's easy to write but hard to speak.

Well he wasn't a very good introduction was he?

You're right, it's easier to learn the written language than to speak it.

I'd be pleased if you tried. I've found that 90% of the people I've met who could even get by in the language were guys (on this board there ARE a few girls who speak at least reasonably well though).

(I don't live down south now though!)
