| Star Wars is over. Darth is having anal sex with Obi One in Jedi heaven and Luke is his son. |

Ever read Mormon science fiction? Orson Scott Card?
I desperately want to see all the Ender's Game series made into an expansive television show. So much that I've played with mapping out a screenplay that converts at least Ender's Game into about 12 one hour episodes. |

| Live action? Hmmm, I dunno. Last I heard they were still thinking about doing an animated series. The "Clone Wars" series on Cartoon Network is really awesome, and I think I'd prefer an animated series. But, I don't have much faith in anything Lucas does anymore. |

I've read the first three books in the Ender series. Great stories. It wasn't until the third book that I started to see religious elements woven into the story. It's been 8-9 years since I read them though so my memory is hazy. |

The religious stuff in the last three books, the "Speaker for the Dead" bit, of the main series does get a bit religious, but not so Mormon. The bit about the philotic web is a big nod, as I see it, to both Vedic and Buddhist traditions as well as string theory. If anything, the Mormon stuff is couched in the importance of family interconnectivity.
I mean, c'mon, with a religion like Mormonism, they've got to be good story tellers. |
