The OP told me there is no paperwork.
Although the chances of getting stopped are minimal, technically
you are supposed to have tags and insurance on anything
above 50cc. |

pm me your email address if you want pics and further info on what is needed for the scoot.
it needs cylinder work, and i'm not sure how much, but the guy at my local shop said "cylinder... cylinder... 300,000 won". but when he said "cylinder" he held up a piston and pointed at the little seals around the rim of the piston. which could explain how blue the exhaust has been.
i'm going to sell it for 200,000 won. the work it needs could cost 300,000 won. after the work is done the bike's life will be extended by a few years.
it runs well right now, it just has blue, smelly exhaust and it's a little noisy. i've been driving it daily for almost 3 years, and i have had no mechanical problems, just wear and tear stuff like new seat, new tires, new shocks, etc. and each one of those repairs has cost me around 30,000 a pop.
i'm leaving korea on nov. 2. if i can't meet up with you before then my friend will complete the transaction for me after i'm gone.
oh yeah - it doesn't have papers, but i've never been stopped by the cops.
another thing - it comes with 2 helmets and a road map of korea. |

It needs new rings.
Possibly a new piston as well.
Short of a cracked engine block, it's some of the most serious work that could need to be done on an engine. The price he quoted is probably correct. On the flip side, after he did that, the engine would likely run like new, and last about as long. |

It's worth about 100,000 won. That's if it ain't stolen. And that's a big if. Why in hell wouldn't it have papers?
Spliffy, I'm getting tired of doing your job, godammit! |

A good new helmet costs as little as 65,000 won. Why anyone would buy a used one is beyond me. Here are some helmet facts:
A safety motorcycle helmet's useful service life, usually three to five years, is dependent upon the intensity and frequency of its use. Helmet replacement is recommended if one or more of the following points applies to the helmet.
1. The helmet was subject to an impact. Your were involved in any form of an accident with the helmet. If so, the helmet's integrity has been compromised and will no longer provide the same level of protection it was designed to give. It is recommended that if you want to maintain maximum safety, to replace your helmet immediately. Money is not at issue here, we're talkiing about your life, the life of your children and family.
2. The comfort padding or the retention system has become loose due to heavy use, or they display signs of deterioration. The retention system is there to hold and maintain your helmet to your head. When this is compromised, the protection no longer exists. Regardless of how food the shell is, if the retention system is not there, you may as well not even be wearing your motorcycle helmet.
3. The synthetic foam padding displays signs of heavy use and the helmet feels too loose. You can test the effectiveness of the padding by fastening the retention strap and gently shaking your head. If the helmet moves, the padding is too loose. The padding is what sits between the hard outer shell and your soft head. Unless there is 100% integrity in this foam, you will not be receiving maximum protection.
4. There are cracks or compression in the EPS liner and/or white spidering can be seen on surfaces of the EPS liner. You see this, time to get a new helmet.

I think 500K all-in for a 100cc is a good price, especially if you spend 50K a month on taxis / buses. I used to ride one of these and it's a good bike in heavy city traffic, especially if you're riding alone.
If the two helmets are unimpacted and fit securely, that's another 100k value. good for someone who's here to make money, and who might be teaching at various different places in a day and usually taxis in between destinations
just remember you're taking your life in your own hands every time you drive a bike over here though, and that's even if you're a good driver. |

had the papers. they were in the box on the back. the box leaks. i found that out the hard way during the monsoon.
it's worth more than 100,000 dude. sorry. it's worth even more than i'm asking. go to toegyero sometime and price used scooters. it's a steal. |

no impact. i've never been in an accident of any sort.

nope.

nope. except for some scuffing on the helmets from me walking into my school and rubbing the ceiling with my head, no significant damage. these helmets don't move. on my head, anyway.
they may be too big for some people, i've always had a big melon. if it moves on your head, your head is small.
4. There are cracks or compression in the EPS liner and/or white spidering can be seen on surfaces of the EPS liner. You see this, time to get a new helmet.
there would have to be impacts for this.

my helmets are ok, but it is the only brain you have. so act accordingly. i also may have lice, ever consider that?
as well, one of the helmets is one of those multi-colored kawasaki ninja sonic the hedgehog deals that has the dumb paintjob.
a helmet is an extension of your style. helmets are indeed cheap here, it can't hurt to 1. look good and 2. protect yourself.
be a smart person and exercise good judgement. |

If you want rid of it badly, I'll take it off you for 200,000 if you bring it to Donghae in Gangwon-Do. |
