Well, the upside in Hongdae, and it's not that uncommon, is you can get a few tall beers at the local convenient mart and drink them outside (not so great when it's freezing outside, but still...) Down a couple of those, then nurse your 5,000 won drink at the bar. Or carry a box of soju in your pocket, hhahaha, and drink it in the bathroom. |

I'm the kind of guy that starts with cheap pitchers of beer in the divest of the dives and slowly work my way up to bottles of Cass as the night progresses. |

While I remember doing that when I was a yout' to save money, it would make me feel like a pathetic old alcoholic today. |
