Instead of working on my paper which is due very soon, I have instead been solo partaking in some horribly cheap port which i somehow inherited.

Not doing much for my paper...but it has let me solve the problem of why I haven't been able to focus on anything lately.....

at the risk of sounding like Princess.... I am head over heels in love (or is it lust? no... its more than that..) with a korean girl... shit...since the recent events i'd better clarify that... shes a woman. 28 yrs. A friend. currently in australia but friends from way back in korea.

And somebody who recently has been making me bust a nut every time i think about her.... which is not good for friendship...

Problem is, shes the traditional korean christian type... waiting for marriage which is more than i can offer. I know she has never been with a man...
And despite the instinctive overwhelming desire... I'm not planning on doing anything about that... remember waynes world? I'm not worthy....

She'd be horrified if she knew but its killing me.....
Seriously... i have uni work piling up everywhere, papers due left right and centre... and everything has completely lost its relevance...

Dear Evil Penguin,

I think you need a few more bottles of wine to bring you to your senses. I don't know about this gal you are head over heels for, but you may be hoping for something that might not happen. Korean woman are pretty picky and most of them don't like whities (I am guessing that you are, but I don't know you).

My advice is get your paper done and don't put all your eggs in one basket. It could lead to heartache.

Let me suggest you are thinking about her too much because

a) You're in Korea and have free time on your hands
b) You've had a bottle of wine or 2
c) Absence makes the heart grow fonder

That said, if after you've sobered up and are still thinking about her in a couple weeks, and if you change to think you can offer her something real/long term..then do something about it.

Korean women are fine but you need to leave them alone because its whats best.

I didn't write the following, but I know the guy who did (or he didn't, and passed it along to me!) Very interesting, so I thought I'd pass it along...not trying to hijack your thread either...read on!

I was riding to work yesterday when I observed a female driver cut right in front of a pickup truck, causing him to have to drive on to the shoulder to avoid hitting her. This evidently angered the driver enough that he hung his arm out his window and �flipped� the woman off.

�Man, that guy is stupid,� I thought to myself. I ALWAYS smile nicely and wave in a sheepish manner whenever a female does anything to me in traffic, and I drive 48 miles each way every day to work.

That's 96 miles each day.

Of these, 16 miles each way is bumper-to-bumper.

Most of the bumper-to-bumper is on an 8-lane highway.
There are 7 cars every 40 feet for 32 miles.
That works out to be 982 cars every mile, or 31,424 cars.

Even though the rest of the 32 miles is not bumper-to-bumper, I figure that I pass at least another 4000 cars.

That brings the number to something like 36,000 cars that I pass every day.

Statistically, females drive half of these.

That's 18,000 women drivers!

In any given group of females, 1 in 28 has PMS.

That's 642.

According to Cosmopolitan, 70% describe their love life as dissatisfying or unrewarding.

That's 449.

According to the National Institute of Health, 22% of all females have seriously considered suicide or homicide.

That's 98.

And 34% describe men as their biggest problem.

That's 33.

According to the National Rifle Association, 5% of all females carry weapons, and this number is increasing.

That means that EVERY SINGLE DAY, I drive past at least one female that has a lousy love life, thinks men are her biggest problem, has seriously considered suicide or homicide, has PMS, and is armed.
