For me it was Mary Tyler Moore

Rachel Friend from Australian soap 'Neighbours'
http://youtube.com/watch?v=3LyrYhReFDY&mode=related&search= (53 second clip - blast from the past for Brits and Aussies)
My first proper girlfriend looked a lot like her as well. Strange really, since I don't tend to go for blondes these days.
Neighbours was great. Anyone who didn't watch Neighbours every day without fail during the 80s and 90s should be sterilized. |

Tom Cruise (immediately after seeing Top Gun).
Patrick Swayze (after watching the miniseries North and South).
(I have a thing for guys in uniform) |

Yep, Neighbours connection again and Kylie. Stuck to the screen for the 80's and 90's. Loved her and she sang as well that made her doubly fanciable.
"I really should be so lucky"
My first girlfriend was an aussie. Something to do with the accent and my school shorts. |

I suppose first was Tina Louise. Ginger on Gilligan's Island.
Then Jaclyn Smith.
And I had the ubiquitous Farrah Fawcett poster on the wall next to the Dallas Cowboys' Cheerleaders. |
