Nothing against vegetarians, but trying to find a vegetarian mexican restaurant is quite the endeavor. back home, i knew of one, only ONE mexican place that served vegan and vegetarian (and some meat) dishes, and it was packed with every hipster in the city.
mexican is absolutely a MEAT based cuisine. ever had real mexican where the beans and meat are cooked in, not chicken stock, but LARD? that's the good stuff.
korea at least has a buddhist tradition which helps make a vegetarian's life a bit easier....one might starve in mexico. |

ok so last night i tried the mexican joint behind gangnam cgv
it's called urbanos.
it's a bit pricey (9,000 for a burrito), but I liked it better than dos tacos.
there's a mexican guy working the grill so that's was a little reassuring. |

Yeah, you jerks! How dare you want to eat cuisine that you can get at home! You're not living the real K-Experience! Kimbap and Kalbi every day! Rice for breakfast! Completely disregard how much of Korean food is borrowed from other cultures in the first place! |

i eat korean on a near daily basis (kimbap restaurants). if im gonna spend more than 20-30,000 on a meal for two, though, i prefer it to be foreign.
but hey, i never was the "family restaurant" type in america either. |

Yeah, that's exactly what I meant. What a perceptive individual you are proving yourself to be.
Pass the chimichonga. |

I try to avoid it on the whole, as generally, it's awful. |

You're my new favorite on this board. I can't think of a person who gets more riled up by being called out. You made a snide remark and you got one right back. Don't dish it out if you can't take it. |
