so I've been here in Korea a week so far. I just found out that there is a K1 MMA event happening here... Not sure if there are many MMA fans on here but if so please reply and maybe we can get a good crew together and watch.

Anyway, i'm not sure if there are even any tickets left or how much they cost. But if we can't get tickets maybe grab some beers and watch it on pay per view?

I've only been in korea a few months so I don't know too many people myself, even less, people willing to pay around W90,000 for an event like that.

I'm going, but I have no idea where the Jangchung arena is. Any ideas? The picture on the website looks like a K1 event I attended at Dongguk Uni, is it the same place?

Jangchung Gym is right by the Dongkuk University subway stop. You won't be able to miss it. The ticket auction site is a bit difficult to navigate, I definitely recommend getting a native speaker to help you. I bought my cheap tickets for 27000 the other day, so I suspect they will still be available.

Really looking forward to seeing Kang v. Akiyama (even though I think Kang will whoop dat ass). Also, its always a bonus to see Carlos "THe Ronin" Newton! Hope to see some of you guys there!
