Not bad....!
You get to see Koreans acting like assclowns which is never hard to do.
I did one of those dodgy visa runs there. Its rare, people will make comments about not seeing foreigners.
The port city is nice. The water is very clear. There seemed to be a vigorous recreational fishing industry going on, the K's came well equipped and seemed to know where they were going. the K's are the ones really making investments on the island and they only spend money on K businesses.
Tushima is rural, sparsely populated and one of the poorer prefectures. If you spend time there, you'll get to see some open country. There are alot of beaches.
I went in the morning and came and came back in the afternoon. You'll get 3 hours there or so.
The hotel in town costs $50 a night. Navigating the island is a little a hard but you can go touring on a public bus and hop on and off. Very little written English on the signs.
The beaches are a good escape from Busan's crowds during the summer. |

| kangsantravel.com should be able to book that for you. They can book the fukuoka run, so it seems like they should be able to handle this one. There office is in Jangsan too, so you can actually talk to someone face to face ify ou want. |
