Anyone out there use Twitter?

After reading about it over and over again I signed up and I just don't see the point. Maybe it's one of those things that's only fun if you already know a lot of people using it...

That's correct. If your friends aren't using it its pretty useless. Well, even more useless Smile

twitter is great, even if you don't follow any friends on it. It's informative, educational and just entertaining depending on who you want to follow.

I stumbled on www.twittervision.com and found quite a few gamers updating around the globe...started to follow them for fun, and from their friends list I found developers, bloggers and other employees in the gaming community. (and met them IRL too by keeping up with their updates on social events; i.e. Trixie and Major Nelson if you're into xbox)

microblogging is a great way to keep up with the latest news on anything...be it web2.0 (http://twitter.com/TechCrunch)
the news (http://twitter.com/nytimes),
deals (woot, JetBlue) or
presidential candidates

Colbert was a spoof but was fun to follow anyway

If you meet that Major Nelson character again, ask him why there is so little XBOX Live DLC available for Korea.
