This little guy just found a great home.
I had so many people interested, thank you, it was amazing...

I really appreciate everyone's interest and I don't want to try and push anyone into anything, but in case you don't know there is a situation in Daejon where 200 dogs desperately need homes.
A Korean woman has been caring for approximately 200 stray and abandoned dogs in Daejon (out of her own pocket) for many years. However, the City Council has ordered that she shut down the shelter and get rid of all the dogs due to land restrictions and complaining neighbors. They have told her that if they animals are not gone by the end of the month (October!) then they will exterminate all the dogs. Whats worse isthat the kill shelters there are not big enough to house this many dogs so it is not known how they will be 'dealt with'. A group of people have been going to Daejon on Saturdays to volunteer and also to foster /adopt as many as possible. There are still over 150 dogs that needs homes! Anyway, if there is any chance you could adopt one of these little ones, that would also be awesome.

I wish I could save them both, but I already have dogs. One of their pics is on this site, the other hasn't been photographed. Indeed! Although I think he's smaller than he looks in the pics - I don't know who the girl is, but perhaps she's small and therefore he looks bigger lol~ I think he's malnurished because he has an enormous appetite (I'm making sure I don't over feed him since he's been hungry for a while )

He looks quite healthy.

If a mini is sick, or has been under stress, they will lose hair (it will stick to your hand when you pet the animal).

Minis are a challenging dog. You either love them, or you hate them. They are not for the owner who just wants a dog to quietly sit around the house and sleep in the corner. They are generally very active, and many satisfied owners often get more than one because they feel the dog needs a playmate, and they can't give the dog enough attention by themselves.

Sadly, not a good dog for a teacher who is gone several hours at a time. They don't like to be alone, and if they have nothing to do, they will often MAKE their own fun.

bassexpander knows his dogs. What he's said describes my two to a tee. If you like a dog that can sit on your lap but still keep pace with your bike along the Han river mini-pins are for you! I would be all over this one but I'm leaving to Canada for permanent (I hope) soon and only have 2 dog tickets, one goes on mine the other on my wife's. I think it's about $800 to send them alone. But who knows if no one picks this beauty up I might have to take home a three pack. 3kgs is not a big mini-pin, definitely a delicate litttle lady in the photo. My baby (4months) weighs 3.5 and his 1 1/2 year old sibling weighs 4.5. the one in the picture is real small for a one year old if that's all he weighs. Beautiful example of a mini-pin by the way (great posture and colors).

Alan, I looked into the quarantine process a while ago for bringing a cat into the UK and seem to remember it being around 6 months. I'd imagine it's a similar lengh of time for dogs too..

6 months is about right.

I think it's expensive as well.5000 quid or more for kennel fees
