As a conservative, he is in good company with the other clowns running in the race for the GOP nomination. In my more unstable moments, it makes me wish I were a Republican so I could vote for him.

It sounds like he's more likely to run as a Democrat, as it takes more money to run as a Republican.

I like to register as a Republican so I can vote in their primary. Then I vote for the biggest wack-job. This time around it will be Huckabee, though it did blow up in my face last time.

In my home province nearly everyone registered for the Progressive Conservative party last year just because they wanted to vote for the least fundamental wacko as party leader.

Really? In my province people scoff at the PCs. Most people vote Conservative, at least they did last election (before it was NDP), and people in urban areas tend to vote solely NDP.

Alexa McDonough / Jack Layton all the way.

Huckabee? I was thinking Giuliani. I'd take a good ol' boy over that crooked SOB any day...but I usually vote Democrat.
