Hi,
What are my chances to get a non-teaching job in Korea as a non-native English speaker? I'm an Asian living in Asia, have a Degree and 1 year working experience in corporate IT. I don't speak any Korean.

Without speaking Korean and without having connections... You have a better chance of winning the lottery grand prize 4 times in succession. |

Nothing is impossible.
You can speak English I assume, so your chances are higher than impossible.
However, I agree you need connections, and networking is important in Korea.
Don't give up. |

English speaker seeking a non-teaching job in Korea.
He MUST have either:
a) connections - K friends or K-family (in-laws)
b) the ability to speak Korean
c) Something special that Korean IT professionals don't have (other than speaking English)
OR
50 million won for an investors visa.
Otherwise it isn't happening LEGALLY. No visa.
