Burning trash, waste materials, and junk is what makes the air smoky, foul, and chemicalized.
Since it costs less money and effort to burn, people burn instead of taking things to be recycled. It's a sad fact that we all are paying the price for laziness in the form of degrading our health and livelihood. |

I was thinking the same thing, the air was just wretched. Tried to stay as close to trees as possible on the way home today but it was of little use. |

Is it rice field burning time? That generates a lot of smoke. |

The government really need to enforce the recycling farm waste. I was always told that burning grass depletes the soil of its nutrients. |

This is weird. I walked out of my door today around noon and remarked to myself how incredibly clear the sky was. Didn't really pay attention to it on my way to work, and I wear a helmet, but it seemed alright today. |

We need wind and rain. The sky today is utterly vile to look at as it always is at this time of year because of the lack of wind and rain. |
