|
|
I've been in Korea for 4 months now. When I first got here I loved riding the bus, I know I'm weird... but it was air conditioned and quick, cheap, etc.
Now all of a sudden when I ride the bus I feel like I'm breathing in soju burps and recycled swamp a$$. There is no air circulation and I feel like I'm suffocating the whole time we ride until the door opens for passengers, then I try to breathe really fast. Is there any reason they don't turn the air on? Do most busses not have windows either? This could really impact my bus riding experience for a while... |

There's a clampy latch on the window. Squeeze it and pull away from the frame, towards the center of the window. This should cause the window to open. |

Open a window. I usually do. In addition, on the ceiling, there is this thingy that you can push up and open to let some air in. Best of luck to you. |

There are no windows on the busses here. If there were I'd be hanging my head out the window like my dog with my tongue flapping in the wind. |

Where are you? The only places there aren't windows on Seoul busses are near the back door and the windshield. |

Incheon. I usually take those white/red airport busses, if you've been here. |

Don't fight it, become one with the stagnant funk. The ensuing chronic fatigue syndrome you develop is just the way it goes here ... |

There is a season for aircon. When the season is over the aircon is switched off, regardless of the temperature.
This is Korea: It doesn't have to make sense. |

Ah, you are one of those foreigners on drugs I read about on NoCut news.
How the hell do you do that? I wish I could, I just shift in my seat and think about my stop and the breeze that awaits me. |
