Simple question.
What are my chances of getting a 6 month contract to work over in Busan? Any recruitment agencies which maybe specialise in that kind of thing? |

If you are in Busan... no problem. It can be done.
If you are in Korea but not in Busan, try pusanweb. They often have postings there.
If you are abroad and not prepared to pay your way here... good luck. |

Thank you ttompatz.
I am abroad in fact. I hear that 6 month contracts the school will only pay the airfair one way. Is it possible they might pay for me to fly there and then when my contract finishes I can pay for my own onward travel? |

The guarantor form that they have on file with immigration says they are responsible to ensure that you LEAVE the country so your chances of getting them to pay your way here are pretty slim.
I won't say impossible but... a snowball in hades may have a better chance. |

cheers ttompatz
I will just have to take a year's contract then. I hope to get some holiday half way through so I can go visit my girl. She'll just have to be patient won't she.
Thanks again. |

Negotiate. They'll always feel more at ease if there's something YOU get out of staying the whole six months. Go half on the air and get a lump sum for a job well done upon completion of the contract. Like 1 million or something. Put it in the contract. |
