|
Hi guys,
Can you please clarify this for me. My last last day is this Friday and I leave Korea perm on Mon 12th Nov (I'm leaving early, I've signed a release contract with the agency and director etc - its all finalised).
Do I have 14 days to leave the country from my last day or from when my director reports me?
14 days from my last day is Fri 9th, I leave Mon 12th. Am I going to be fined (this is what I've heard).
Any info would be great. Also what can i expect from immigration when I leave? Do I have to hand in my alien card etc?
Thanks

Look on your ARC, you should leave Korea on or before the date shown(so long as your director hasn't cancelled your visa beforehand). If you want to stay for an extra two weeks you should contact immigration and show them a flight ticket proving you are preparing to leave the country on a fixed date. |

If you quit, you have 14 days (from your last day of work) to get out.
If you are fired, you have 14 days (from your last day of work) to get out.
If you complete your contract, you have to be out by midnight of the day on your ARC. |
