|
|
*bleep*, I can't stand that Korean Air commercial they're always running on CNN. The first time I saw it, I was sure it was a commercial for perfume/cologne, like a Calvin Klein thing. It's just got such a "full of themselves" air to it. Just watch it, it takes them until the last 1/4 of the commercial before they get to something related to aviation (the plane pulling in). There, had to say it. |

Well, most airlines try to sell a vision of luxury/comfort, at least the major national carriers. |

Korean Air is the largest cargo airline in the world.
Possibly for 3 reasons.
1. High value, small items that depreciate rapidy, ie computer chips go by air.
2. They are the cheapest cargo carrier out of Korea. Why? Korean Government regulations/interference that gives the airline an advantage over other carriers.
3. Nationalistic consumers. |

I'm actually quite a big fan of them. Shoddy advertising or no, I've received nothing but good service on that particular airline. |

meh. They're not the worst or the best by any measure. Try Royal Thai for a real nightmare. I'd even pick Korean Air over JAL. |

Not to mention more flight attendants- Air Canada doesn't have enough, and when they finally get around to you, they're not very friendly.
I haven't seen this ad, but I have to say I like Korean Air in general. |

Before the lynch mob comes in mass and babbles about Koreans who can't do anything right, let me plant one little landmine. Off I go. Ka-boom!

Korean has bumped me and my family to business class on several occasions. I quite like them for that. They allow my bags to exceed the maximum weights and sizes. I am a proud Morning Calm member.
They haven't ripped me off, nor made it hell for my wife and kids, like the nightmare airline that Branson made, (They are a bunch of theives! and incompetent at best) Nor have they overcharged me (an extra 30%) like my 'national airline' did because I was three minutes late.
Nah, I'll stick with Morning Calm thanks. |

Korean Air is great. They're right up there with Singapore Air and JAL. Now, if American Airlines or Czech Airlines had a commercial like that, it would be a definite . |

The best part of that commercial is when the woman is lying all sexy on the sofa, then the man comes over holding a bottle of champagne near his crotch, and the champagne pops open. Metaphor, anyone? |
