I've only seen Danish feta (at most big grocery stores...Emart, Homeplus, etc.), but it's pretty awful.

Costco has it. A few stores in Haebangchon and also Hannam market buy it from Costco and sell it at a higher price. It comes in a jar in liquid.

there's some in my local Homever. It comes in a jar of oil and herbs and it costs about 5,000 won.

That's the Danish stuff I mentioned. Try it out--it's pretty lackluster.

I purchased some of the small cubed stuff that comes in a jar covered in herbs. It's also sat in oil of some description.

Can't remember what I paid for it now, but it was about 8,000 I think.

I wont be buying anymore.

If I'm not mistaken it's packed in vegetable oil and tastes a bit like poo.

There's a pretty nice Aussie (I think) feta that's packaged in blue and white plastic. I've found it at E-Mart, and various other foreign supermarkets, including the one next to What The Book.

I'm gonna be the first non-cultured slob and say I LIKE that Feta cheese. I think it's tasty and a nice change from the Bega or the yellow slices. Maybe I've been here too long but the Danish feta cheese in the oil tastes good in my salads. Stop being such snobs, you aint gonna get much better at 5,000won. You're as bad as the folks criticizing the Mexican food here.

If anyone has anything better for $5 please let us know.

I'm with Hyeon Een. We live in a part of the world where cheese is not a regular part of the diet. We're lucky they import any kind of cheese. I see no reason to whine that the cheese they do import isn't the exact brand that I would choose if I were shopping on the other side of the world.

Walk ye through the twin mountain path of ghosts, answer the troll's three riddles, then cross ye the bridge of death, where ye shall find the goat upon the hill. Should ye humor the goat and bring a smile upon his face for but a minute, it will be possible to steal the cheese beneath his nose. However, if ye shall fail, there shall be only the yellow sliced cheese of peasants and beggars the whole land through. Har har har
