now that that Eye on Korea series is over, CNN no longer shows Seoul's weather forecast in its city forecasts. Quetta, yes, Singapore, yes, Urumqi, yes... no Seoul.

They rotate cities in and out. It's an outrage that the Hub of Asia doesn't have always have its weather forecast on CNN . . . sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't.

What's a real outrage is that they don't show the weather on Dokdo.

I just can't live unless I know what the weather on Dokdo is.

Silly me, I just realised I've been looking at the D list, should have looked at the T list (Takeshima)

Gonna get lots of nasty emails, from the Koreans on this forum for that one.

One thing you will notice--they always have Tokyo on there.

I saw a kid the other day who must have been about six or seven. He was wearing a t-shirt showing popular unpredictable beagle Snoopy wearing a mortarboard and indicating a blackboard with a cane. On the blackboard were the words "Dokdo Islets belong to Korea!" and on the back, the catchy slogan "Dokdo is Korea land!"

Could you imagine your parents dressing you like that when you were six? In t-shirts saying "The Falklands Belong to Britain", or "She's Your Queen Too, You Filthy Aussie Convict-Spawn"?

Tsk.
