Here are pics of the little girl, we have called her Angel (aka The Cartoon Dog).

She has recovered from her injuries just fine - she LOVES our old golden retriever Bear so we think we may just keep her.

Chers
Tim

That's a keeper. Dogs like this are soulish. I live in Taiwan and a group here called animalstaiwan.org is rescuing street dogs, since there are so many more over here than in Korea. I myself have three.

One I found in a park before and after a typhoon. Had three fish hooks in its fur, lived who knows where. Was matted and filthy, full of burrs and debris. Who wouldn't help such dogs?

Those over here are taking this problem more serious nowadays, so don't think helping a street dog or one in need is an anomaly or aberration from the status quo. Unfortunately, this attitude hasn't caught on in Korea.

One thing I hate though, is when foreigners turn a cold shoulder at dogs here, as if it's none of their concern since this is Asia. Little do they know the Asians are catching on to animal cruelty too, that all it takes is one brave and compassionate soul to give a little time and effort.

Plus, it's rewarding for both of you.

We now have 5 dogs at our place, including 3 rescue dogs from the Daejon shelter (for more info on the Daejon dog shelter that is closing please see www.lonelylifetime.com)

So as much as we love her I think we are going to have to see if we can find an adopted home for Angel (we can deal with a couple of dogs, including one or two temporary rescues, but in order to have room for the rescues I think we can really only keep one permanent dog, & that is going to have to be our 13 yr old golden retriever).

So if anyone is interested in meeting Angel the Cartoon Dog please contact me at tim.vasudeva AT gmail.com or my mobile 010 8940 5233

Cheers
Tim
