step by step:
1. teach kids how to play blackjack.
2. teach kids how to bet on blackjack.
3. get kids to write step-by-step directions on how to play blackjack.
second hour:
1. teach kids how to play texas hold'em poker.
2. teach kids how to bet, bluff and give a good poker face. show them the lyrics to kenny rogers' "the gambler" for extra help.
3. win all the kids' baek-won coins. extend them credit from the change jar and then win all that too, while stressing that these loans are from gangsters. win all that money from them too.
4. get kids to write a quick journal "is gambling bad? why? why not?"
i advocate this. for starters, you get to play cards for a long time, and then you scare kids away from gambling for life. maybe. |

well yeah... i mean i introduced them to bluffing. called it "lying, but FUN lying". |
